HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGERS JOB DESCRIPTION

The job of a Human resource manager includes planning,coordinating staff of an organisation to achieve the objectives and make the policies for providing compensation,recruitment,recreation programmes.They should know about the vacancies or need for more human resources and take actions to interview and select the applicants.they should provide the information about policies,working conditions,wages,opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.They have to advise managers on organisational policy matters and analyse and modify compensation packages.Human resource manager should maintain records concerning the personal detals of staff and also the performance apprisals.They should conduct exit interviews to know the reason of employee migration.He/She should have better knowledge of principles and procedures for personal recruitment,selection,training,economic and accounting priniples,psychology,mathematics,customer service,business and management principles,knowledge of policies of law,legal codes,government regulations and word processing.A anager should have the ability to actively communicate with people and identifying the best people for doing the job. Administration is also a part of this job and involves making decisions and solving problems.They should handle complaints,settle conflicts,evaluate the information received from various sources to know whether they meet the standards.Human resource management is an important part of all organisations.The success of an organisation depends on the overall success of its employees and so it is essential to select the most skilled employees.In India and abroad there are lot of opportunities in Human resource management.Candidates who have completed BA in Business Communication,BS in Communication,BS in Interdisciplinary studies,BS in Business Information Systems,BA in Business Administration,MBA in Human Resource Management have more chance to get Human Resource jobs.
