There are a lot of vacancies in telemarketing field which is considered as the newest method of reaching customers.Telemarketers are now being employed by most of the companies in India for generating leads for sales team to market their products.Their job is to contact customers and explain the products offered by the company and their price.To obtain addresses of interested customers and record it in computers.Telemarketing executives work on the basis of targets alloted to them by sales manager.Telemarketers obtain addresses and phone numbers from telephone directories,magazines,yellow pages.etc.they also give advertisements and when people respond to this they will try to convert the customer enquiry into sales.They also take appointments from customers and give this information to a sales executive who will directly meet the customer and sell the product and collect money.Telemarketers on achieving targets get commissions along with salary.They should have good knowledge of techniques for dealing with customers.They should have a pleasant voice and should be able to answer all the queries and should have good pronounciation.Another important skill required is the ability to listen carefully and talking with confidence in words.Now a days,Banks,Financial institutions,Life Insurance companies are giving good opportunities to telemarketing executives.Usually females are mostly employed by companies in this field.There will be promotions as senior executives or team leaders for the most experienced candidates.The main aim of telemarketing is to introduce their products to people who are unaware of this product and also to know the interest of customers relating to certain products.So that the customers at any time in future may contact their company for purchasing products.As the companies introducing their products through telemarketers is increasing everyday,there is a huge demand for telemarketing executive jobs in India.
