SALES EXECUTIVES/MANAGER JOBS

Sales executives are the basement of every industry that helps them to sell their products in the market and increase the product demand.They maintain maintaining relationships with existing customers through regular review visits,they contact by phone or visit potential customers to demonstrate products and gain new markets,they actias a bridge between a company and its existing and potential markets,they get information and likes or dislikes of consumers towards a product.Eventhough this job includes pressure and stress the earning potential is very high because the salary and incentives given out to the sales or marketing executives is very attractive.They negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers,advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions, recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office.These employees help in increasing profit for the company.Sales executives are usually needed by advertising companies,vehicle leadeships,financial institutions.etc.He/She should have excellent communication skills,ability to speak confidently and convert prospective customers or to get leads and thereby increase the sales.They have greater demand and there are lot of vacancies allover india for sales executives.A High school or diploma is essential for this jobs.But,more opportunities are there for candidates who possess a degree in any relevant course.Advertising jobs are also available for this sector which requires certain qualities such as Proficiency in English,Strong organisational skills,Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines,Excellent communication skills,Strong motivation,Ability to work effectively under stress,Excellent public speaking and presentation skills,Achieve monthly targets in order to ensure sufficient revenue before publication,Prioritise between short,medium and long-term advertising activities,Manage existing and potential client relationship.

Sales Managers are those part of an organisation who guide the entire team of marketing executives and team leaders.The team leaders have to report to sales managers who in turn have to report to regional or national sales managers.It is the duty of a qualified and talented sales manager to implement various sales strategies and management techniques in order to facilitate improved profits and increased sales volume. They are also responsible for coordinating the sales and marketing department.They advise their team and prepare strategies for introducing new products to the market and to increase the sales in every month.Sales managers organise, motivate and lead sales teams in a wide range of industries.They are responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring sure that everyone within their team reaches their targets.They set the targets for all executives and motivate them by declaring incentives.They also have to plan and direct staffing, training,performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programmes.Managerial positions in this job sector are mostly available to graduates who are having atleast 2 years experience as team leaders.Recruiting functions of a manger include interviewing applicants, consulting with candidates on industry trends and placing candidates on temporary assignments.To become a sales manager you will need proven experience in sales, with a good track record of achieving targets.
